And that’s Frankita la Mosquita. She took this and the last picture on a mountain trip when she was visiting in September. Lots of Norwegians (from now on called Norgis) are crazy about climbing on mountains and especially hiking.

first snow
Look at this! That was two weeks ago when there was still 28 °C in Germany and the rest of my family was at the ”Oktoberfest”. This leads to a very funny point because the “Oktoberfest” isn’t really in October. It’s much more in September and a little bit in October, too.

at the corner
I got free from university this week so have some time to relax and to study a little more on my own. I applied for a couple of jobs but haven’t got any response yet. See how it goes. Will be looking for some different opportunities. It’s very good to have some time just for myself so I can reflect a little on what has happened until now and where I’m standing in life at the moment. Life has been incredibly fast during the last two months and so much has happened.

looking forward
This week I got free from lessons at the university and I just got the bad news that I won't get a scholarship from the Norwegian state. So I will be looking for a job this week and hopefully have some time to do more work on my essay.

UiTø
That's my university's campus. It's the most northern university. Well it will be the place where I will be at home when studying and it will give me most of life’s input for now.
I sadly have to start with some bad news. Saturday night last week my camera got stolen from the kitchen at the place where I live. It disappeared while we were out in town and hasn’t been seen since then. I’m really thinking lot about this and not to draw the wrong conclusions concerning my attitude towards life. My camera in some way defined me as a human being and how I see and understand the world. It has travelled almost all the globe together with me. So until I’ll find a new way to see the world there won’t be that many pictures.
Studies are just going fine and I started doing some research for my first essay I will have to write in philosophy. It will be Hobbes and his Leviathan. A dark and frightening understanding of human’s nature and the state’s task to protect us human beings against ourselves. Well I’ll approximate this topic with a lot of respect and some fear to be confirmed in certain dark ways of thinking.
